Academic Catalog

Academic Continuation relates to a student’s eligibility to continue attending the university, in this case by meeting pre-established standards of performance—and to remain in a particular program or to maintain the same status, e.g., undergraduate degree-seeking student.

As an undergraduate, you will be able to continue at the University as long as you maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA.  If you drop below that cumulative GPA, you will be placed on Academic Probation.  Once you are on Academic Probation, you can continue attending the university as long as your term GPA does not drop below a 2.0.  Once your cumulative is above a 2.0, you will be removed from Academic Probation. 

If your term GPA drops below a 2.0 while you are on Academic Probation, you will be placed on Academic Suspension and cannot continue attending the university and will need to adhere to the processes established by the Undergraduate Academic Continuation Committee to be reinstated.
