Reinstatement after Academic Suspension, Undergraduate

Type: Enrollment
Effective Date: 6/6/2012

If you have been academically suspended, you may appeal for reinstatement.

Academic Suspension actions occur at the end of the Fall, Spring, or Summer terms. If you have been suspended, you will not be permitted to return to the university (be reinstated) for at least one full term (Fall, Spring, or Summer) following your academic suspension. Be aware that, because of appeal deadlines, you may be away from Northern Arizona University for longer than just one term.

Reinstatement Appeals are due in writing by the deadline for the term for which you wish to return.

You may not re-enroll at NAU until your appeal for reinstatement has been approved by the Undergraduate Academic Continuation Committee (UACC).

If you are reinstated to NAU, you will be on Academic Probation.
