Server Co-Location
What's included
- Rack Space in ITS co-location computer room
- Access to co-location room restricted to occupants and ITS operations staff. Rack can be locked if you purchase an entire rack of space (See pricing below)
- Up to 6000 watts/racks (one 20 and one 30 amp 120 volt electrical circuit)
- Electrical power backed by a 375KVA UPS and a diesel backup generator (coming January 2009) for continuous power
- 100Mb/s network connections connected to your department’s subnet
- Cooling supplied by campus chilled water with backup chillers on site in case of loss of campus chilled water
- 24 x 7 x 365 access to co-location room
- Automated Environmental Monitoring and notification to ITS staff for co-location room
- Inergen fire suppression system
- Keyboard, Video and Mouse via ITS provided KVM
What's NOT included
- Rack mount kits must be provided by you. All equipment is expected to be rack mountable.

Individual Server Pricing
For individual server pricing, you are required to purchase one network switch option per subnet that you want to connect in the co-location room.

Virtual Windows Server
What's included
- 1 Virtual server. 1 CPU core, 1GB of memory, 30 GB disk space. Can purchase multiples for a larger single virtual machine.
- Windows OS installation and setup.
- Virtual Machine backup and restore. Entire virtual machine will be backed up nightly allowing for restore of entire system but not individual files. The Virtual Machine can be setup to utilize Volume Shadow Copy which allows individual file restores.
- Physical hardware hosted in ITS computer room providing, UPS and diesel generator backed power, central and backup chilled water for cooling, Inergen fire suppression system
- Network connection to a subnet in the ITS building.
- Remote access to the server is provided via Remote Desktop Connection.
- CD/DVD access for software installs can be performed by sharing the medium from your workstation.

Windows Server Support
What's included
- Hosting in ITS computer room included.
- Hardware installation and troubleshooting
- OS installation and support.
The following support services are available to be supported by the ITS staff for the standard monthly fee but this requires a review of the application by the ITS staff to determine what is required to support the application. This means support for these is negotiable and can be provided for simple applications.

Server/File Backup Services
What's included
- Backup of your server/data to offsite tape library.
- All backups are made to disk storage and then archived to tape. Allows for faster backups. Allows for faster restore of recently backed up data.
- Flexible backup schedules and retention.
- Automatically scheduled backups and optional customer-initiated backups and restores.
What's NOT included
- You must purchase a Netbackup client license per server that is backed up.
