Your passwords are automatically synchronized between your Northern Arizona University accounts administered by Information Technology Services (ITS) which may include:

• Email (Jan and Dana)
• NAU Student and NAU Domain
• LDAP (Campus Directory, WebCT, Peoplesoft, MyNAU, Oracle Calendar, Business Objects)
• Advantage

As NAU faculty or staff you will have an email account on Jan, an NAU domain account and an LDAP account along with other accounts you may need in the course of your job responsibilites.

Change Your Password or Update Your Secret Question/Answer - synchronized

This will help you to:

• Reset your password
• Set your secret question/answer for your accounts
• Enable your accounts here at NAU if you are a first time user

Your passwords are automatically synchronized between our NAU accounts administer by Information Technology Services. If you know your current password or your secrect question/answer, you can reset them yourself.

It is possible, however not usually recommended, to unsynchronize passwords for these accounts. To unsynchronize your passwords you must log on to the Campus Directory, access your record, and change the password synchronization indicator to "N" (no).
